My little pictures-downloading tool just got a new feature: instead of
relying on an automounter, it can now invoke pmount itself. That
makes it easier to setup. It also allows you to unplug the camera as
soon as the program is done running; no more waiting for the
automounter to unmount it after a timeout.
The Synchronisation scripts for digital cameras page has been updated accordingly.

the Alioth team, with help from John Goerzen, has set up an
infrastruct^W^Wa couple of scripts on Alioth, so that it's now hosting
Mercurial repositories on hg.debian.org.
Please read the Alioth/Hg page on the Debian wiki for details, but don't expect many surprises: it'll work mostly the same way as the other VCSes hosted on Alioth.
